Poland`s Anna Rogowska upset struggling Russian world record holder Yelena Isinbayeva for the second time in a month when she won the women`s pole vault at the world athletics championships.

Rogowska claimed the title with a clearance of 4.75 metres while a stunned Isinbayeva failed to clear a height.The Russian had won the last four global titles, claiming gold at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics and 2005 and 2007 world championships as well as a host of European and indoor titles. She also lost to Rogowska at the London Grand Prix last month and looked sluggish in all three attempts on Monday. American Chelsea Johnson and Poland`s Monika Pyrek shared the silver after both cleared 4.65. Bureau Report
