Perthshire: Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawa returned his worst card of the week -- a three-over
75 -- but still managed to sign off a creditable tied 10th in
the Johnnie Walker Championship here.
Randhawa ended his campaign with a total of four-under
284 after a disappointing final round which included four
bogeys and just one birdie.
The Delhi golfer had a horrendous front nine as he
dropped four bogeys --on fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth
holes -- to make the turn at four-over.
His back nine too was a subdued affair as he parred the
first six holes before picking up his lone birdie of the day
in the seventh hole to sneak into the top-10.
Compatriot Jeev Milkha Singh had an equally disappointing
day as he carded a four-over 76 to end his campaign at
tied 42.
Jeev made the turn at two-over after a couple of bogeys
on the front nine. Bogeys on the 10th and 13th holes worsened
the matter as the Chandigarh golfer went four-under before he
finished with a birdie and a bogey at the 16th and 18th holes.
Gaganjeet Bhullar too had a roller-coaster ride with six
bogeys, a double bogey and five birdies to card three-over 75
and signed off at tied 56th.
At the top, Italian Edoardo Molinari carded one-under 71
to clinch the title with a total of 10-under 278 while a
two-under 70 helped Australian Brett Rumford finish second
here.
