Sania congratulates Tendulkar, Gagan Narang

New Delhi: Sania Mirza, who won silver medal at the Commonwealth Games last Saturday, congratulated star batsman Sachin Tendulkar and ace marksman Gagan Narang for doing the country proud in their respective fields.

"Sachin`s everyone`s favourite and my congratulations to him for completing 49th Test century," Sania told the reporters at a news conference, today.She was more effusive in her praise for fellow Hyderabadi Gagan, who has already won four gold medal in the shooting event of the Commonwealth Games."My sister (Anam Mirza) is into shooting and she did go and watch Gagan get his first gold. He has been doing very well and has done the country proud. I hope that he gets the Best Athelete award at the closing ceremony," Sania said. PTI
