Sneijder ready to commit to Inter Milan

Dutch playmaker Wesley Sneijder said that he is set to sign a contract extension that will see him remain with European champions Inter Milan until 2015.

Rome: Dutch playmaker Wesley Sneijder said Thursday he is set to sign a contract extension that will see him remain with European champions Inter Milan until 2015.

“I`m pretty sure that in the coming weeks I will sign on until 2015,” said Sneijder. “Some other clubs have expressed interest, but I`m feeling comfortable in Milan and at a great club like Inter.” Sneijder helped Inter win Italy`s Serie A last season, the Italian Cup and the Champions League. He is among the favourites for the inaugural FIFA Ballon d`Or award.The European Footballer of the Year and FIFA World Player of the Year awards have been merged into the Ballon d`Or.Bureau Report
