Totti agrees new five-year deal with AS Roma

Milan: Francesco Totti has agreed a new five-year deal with AS Roma, the 32-year-old former Italy forward said."I thank (club president) Rosella Sensi, who has believed in me (to play) for five more years," Totti was quoted as saying by a newspaper`s website.

"She has extended my contract. I hope I`ll always be able to give my all and come off the field with a shirt covered in sweat." Totti, a born-and-bred Roman, has only played professionally for the club he supported as a child and is adored in the Italian capital. He helped Roma win the Serie A title in 2001 and was part of Italy`s 2006 World Cup-winning team. Bureau Report
