This remarkable milestone was reached during India's gripping World Cup semifinal clash against New Zealand, hosted at Mumbai's renowned Wankhede Stadium.

Continuing the fiery momentum set by opening batsmen Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, Kohli gracefully notched his 50th ODI century off 106 balls, embellishing his innings with eight boundaries and one six. As he continued his innings, Kohli's aggressive batting style was evident, culminating in a remarkable score of 117 from 113 deliveries, featuring nine fours and two sixes before his eventual dismissal.
