Why security guards of PM Narendra Modi and other VIPs always wear black sunglasses

New Delhi: Most of you must have noticed that security guards of PM Narendra Modi and other VIPs always wear black sunglasses but have you ever thought  - Why they do so?

If you observe, you will notice that security guards or bodyguards of any VIP always wear sunglasses.

There are a number of reasons why they do so. Here are some of the reasons:-

REASON #1: They don’t want anyone to know where they are looking at. Hence, they can keep an eye on everyone without their knowledge. 

REASON #2: In case of any untoward incident like bomb blast or firing, it's natural that eyes of a person may get closed for a while, but security guards can’t afford to close their eyes in these crucial situations and these sunglasses help them in keeping their eyes open all the time whenever they are with the VIPs

REASON #3: These security guards are trained to understand a person’s body language so that they can act accordingly. By wearing these black sunglasses, the other person doesn’t get an idea that the security guard is keeping an eye on him.

REASON #4: Moreover, these sunglasses also protect a bodyguard’s eyes from dust, storm and heavy winds. By wearing these glasses, they can perform their duty in a better way.
