LIVE - Magadi Election Results 2018

Magadi (Gen) is an Assembly constituency in the Ramanagaram district and Bengaluru region of Karnataka and is a part of the Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency. The total number of registered voters in this constituency are 2,23,193 voters. Results for the Magadi Assembly constituency in Karnataka, polling for which was held on May 12, will be announced on May 15, 2018. JDS candidate H. C. Balakrishna had won from this seat in the 2013 Karnataka Assembly Elections. He won with a margin of 14,359 votes (8.44%) securing 44% of the total votes polled. Balakrishna defeated A Manjunath of INC who got 60,462 votes. The Magadi seat witnessed a total voter turnout of 83.88% in the 2013 assembly polls. JD(S) had won this seat in the 2008 Assembly Elections with a margin of 24,919 votes (17.3%) registering 52.75% of the votes polled.
