The mishap took place at around 3 AM near Pukhrayan, about 100 kms from here, when the passengers were fast asleep.
Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu has ordered a probe into the train tragedy.

Following are the names of those identified among the 120 passengers who lost their lives when 14 coaches of Indore-Patna Express (19321) derailed in Pukhrayan near here today.
The list was released by the Chief PRO North Central Railway.

"Right now, we need to help the injured. We have started a big relief operation and have utilised all the available resources," Suresh Prabhu said.
Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu, who visited Pukhrayan, the accident site of the Patna-Indore Express, in Kanpur Dehat district in Uttar Pradesh, said a probe has been ordered in this connection and rescue operations are priority.
Sharma said the army is in touch with the civil administration and all other agencies, including the NDRF.
"All are functioning together," he said.
The army has pressed into action 90 rescue personnel and a 50-member medical team, which included five doctors.

The army on Sunday said it will carry out rescue operation at the site of the derailed Indore- Patna Express here through the night even as it deployed an armoured recovery vehicle to clear the wreckage.

Railways have videographed the entire Kanpur-Jhansi track to ascertain the reasons for the derailment of the Indore-Patna Express.
General Manager of North-Central Railway Arun Saxena told reporters that investigation will be conducted by the Commissioner of Railway Safety.
Asked if someone could have tampered with the tracks, he said the Commissioner of Railway Safety, would be able to provide an answer to it.
"Anyone with further evidence or statements can approach the Commissioner to record his statement," he said, as per PTI.
"We did videography of the whole track for scrutiny," he added.
