Mumbai: A 67-year-old man climbed a power tower at Priyadarshini Circle on Thursday evening and threatened to jump after police officials reportedly refused to register his complaint.

Fire department personnel brought the elderly man down to safety after he threatened to commit suicide. Although it is not yet known what the nature of his complaint was, he reportedly said police officers had refused to register a case when he contacted them.

Earlier this year - in July, a Delhi man had climbed a high-tension electric pole leading to traffic chaos. He was sent to AIIMS hospital for a medical examination after he was convinced to climb down by electricity supply workers.
