New Delhi: The fifth accused in the heinous gang-rape incident, which has shook the nation, is a minor, DCP (south) Chhaya Sharma confirmed on Saturday.

Addressing a press conference, Chhaya Sharma said: “The juvenile accused (named Raju), whom we caught yesterday, belongs to a very disturbed family. He has six siblings, his father is addicted to liquor, and mother is absconding. He has not contacted any of his family members in the past five years”.

Giving more details, Sharma said, “When Raju came to Delhi, he worked at a tea stall and later joined as a helper in various buses. He met the other accused of the gang-rape on the day of the incident i.e. December 16”.

“We found Raju’s lead through a bus conductor,” Sharma said.

Further, the DCP added, “Finally we caught Raju from Anand Vihar terminal after we got some information from Ram Singh (key accused in the gang-rape case)”.

“Then we reached Bihar with the help of some leads and caught the sixth accused, Akshay Kumar Singh. Since he belongs to Bihar, he likes to be called by the name of ‘Thakur’,” Singh concluded.

Hanging them is not the solution to the problem. Hanging these culprits will end their lives but again this ill natured people will rise from various corners of the globe. The main thing which I have understood is an angel can become beast and a beast can turn into an angel from the influence of their surroundings. We must think first what made them so cruel that took all their humanity away. It is their family and friends which made them to do this. Many people won`t agree with me they will say no parent will ever teach their children to do such evill deed. But good or bad is not taught anywhere in this world. It is us who can choose what is good and what is bad. Each and every living soul should embrace the people they usually feel normal to ignore or disrespect and bind them in a bond of affection and love. The care shown to your family and friends and any person you encounter with. It will surely reduce these incidents. Killing them any won`t lead to any permanent solution it has to be a permanent one where every female counterpart of human race can really be happy and free to breath air.

Do we really care whether Raju was a juvenile or belonged to a disturbed family or has no family support...why do we try and get into the psychological humbug of a rapist who cannot even qualify to be called a human......He should be left to die in a mob....A lesson which will act as a deterrent for any minor/major or whatever...And please lets understand the difference between a human and an animal....

100% correct. Pura Indian govt ka system middle class par ithna pressur dala hai ki middle class sirf apni kaam pehley dektha hai. apni 20000 ki nokri lag gayi tho bas hai, duniya baad mey jayey. sab ko lagtha hai ki ye dusrai ki musibath hai, hum kyo taang adaye, par ye musibath har family face karegi, ye cheez bul jathey hai. aawaz utaney sey darthey hai. awaz utathey hai tho phir musibath. un do bacchiyon ka kya hua jinhoney bala thakrey ke strike key against mey awaaz utayi. dono jail gaye. Baisahaab system sudaro.public chootiya hai. Aaz roiyegi, kal ekk bottle daru lekar usi politician ko vote dengi, lo abi.......

what will happen with these protests n march??? the thing is,this will just end one more chapter. and after a few days there will be yet another such crime, and it will be either highlighted or not. the culprits would be arrested or not. and then there will only be news of there arrest and there pictures in news with their faces fully covered and protected,so save respect of those who wander around destroying and tethering apart respect and dignity of others... so the need is to make a law,a law to act immediately against the accused persons in all such cases, irrevelant of the persons post or place in society, their identity revealed, and their cases heard in public, and hang them just like taliban, and if not,let the people decide their fate. and after ward let the human right one come and @@@@(you got it...). A girl is raped and dies.for all of us its just one more news we hear daily, but ask the family who suffered this lost... Go to there home to know the pain... If the social workers, cops, human rights one etc. dont come to prevent the rape and extorsion of girls, who give them the right to oppose the making of law of hanging these bastards... :(
