Senior IAS officer SK Sarkar has been appointed as Secretary in the Water Resources Ministry, an official release said on Tuesday.

New Delhi: Senior IAS officer SK Sarkar has been appointed as Secretary in the Water Resources Ministry, an official release said on Tuesday.
Sarkar, a 1979 batch officer of West Bengal cadre, is presently Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel And Training.
He will succeed Dhruv Vijai Singh, IAS (MT:76), who retires on January 31.
