New Delhi: A huge fire engulfed two coaches of Jaisalmer-Delhi Intercity Express on Sunday triggered by a short circuit, a media report said.
No casualty has been reported. The inferno broke out when the train was standing at a platform.
The ANI reported that two coaches of the train were gutted in the blaze.
The authorities have finally been able to douse the fire, the report said.
The western state of Rajasthan has been reeling under heat wave conditions for more than a month now.
Recently, one of its cities has broke the country's highest temperature record by registering more than 51 degrees centigrade.
The Vasundhara Raje Scindia government has sought the Centre's help to mitigate the drought crisis in some parts of the state.
