Dubai: Tomas Berdych shocked Swiss ace Roger Federer in the Dubai Championships` semi final to set up a title-deciding clash with world number 1 Novak Djokovic. Having lost the first set, Berdych had to save three match points before winning the second set in a thrilling tie-break. The third set went his way as the match ended 3-6 7-6 (8) 6-4 in the Czech`s favour. Serbia`s Novak Djokovic, meanwhile, rallied past fourth-seed Juan Martín del Potro, 6-3, 7-6 (4), in the other semifinal.
