London: Premier League newcomers Burnley have signed Ecuador international Fernando Guerrero on a season-long loan, the club said on their website.
Guerrero, 19 and a former Real Madrid youth player, comes from Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle and has the option to make the move permanent at the end of the 2009-2010 season.
"Fernando is an exciting player for just 19-years-of-age and we believe he has unbelievable potential," Burnley manager Owen Coyle said.
