Madrid: Real Madrid are expected to part company with former Ballon d'Or winner Kaka this summer, according to media reports.
The ex-AC Milan playmaker has failed to live up to his then record breaking price tag of nearly €70 million and the Spanish club have ran out of patience since purchasing him in the summer of 2009
It is thought that the sale of Kaka is Real Madrid's top priority this summer as he is not in Jose Mourinho's plans for next season.
In spite of almost inevitably making huge losses by selling the midfielder, club president Florentino Perez is willing to remove Kaka from the Real Madrid squad, as even he believes there is no better solution to the issue.
However the 29-year-old wants to repay the club for the trust they put in him to pay such an astronomical sum for his services which may complicate issues regarding the sale of the player.
