New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi dismissed on Thursday that there was a `Modi wave` in the country. While she was returning after casting her vote in the national capital, Priyanka was asked by reporters if she agreed that there was the so called Modi wave. Replying to the question she said, “No, I don`t think so.” She also said that she would only campaign for her mother Sonia Gandhi and her brother Rahul Gandhi in the Rae Bareli and Amethi constituency in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, when asked about Modi`s repeated attack on her husband Robert Vadra for his land deals she remained quite. Gujarat CM Narendra Modi is BJP`s prime ministerial candidate for the Lok Sabha polls. Most of the opinion polls have predicted that the BJP will emerge as the single largest party in the polls and the Congress may be headed for its worst ever performance. Modi has been criss-crossing the country addressing as many as four to five rallies in a day in order to woo the crowd and keep up the momentum. The crowd at his rallies have been substantial, enthusing the party cadre and giving hope to the BJP leaders of coming back to power at the Centre after a decade. The Congress meanwhile has been fighting a perception battle with policy paralysis, price rise and corruption staring it in the face. The Congress-led UPA won the Lok Sabha polls in 2004 and 2009. Counting of votes is to be done on May 16.
