Haryana is propagating its cultural and developmental activities through Doordarshan and other private channels, and will continue to disseminate all the necessary information to the people through them, state Information Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Minister Shiv Charan Lal Sharma said.
He was speaking after launching haryanasamvad.gov.in, website of Samvad Society, a registered body of the Department of Public Relations and Cultural Affairs, Haryana Government, here.
He said the website would prove beneficial not only for the state government but also for the public.
Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department KK Khandelwal said information is fundamental right of people and the government aimed to provide more information through this website, including photographs.
The website would have editions of all the magazines brought out by Samvad since 2008 in their original form.
