A riot of colours and fabric-experimentation ruled the ramp on Day 2 of LFW.

Digvijay Singh: Singh brought in a lots of earthy colours and his designs had an overemphasis on fawn. The ensembles were western wear for both men and women. The combination of fawn-saffron-black was a favouriteRohit and Abhishek: Tisca Chopra looked ravishing in a creamy golden suit. In designs for men, velvet made a big comeback. Even quilting made a contemporary and dashy comeback. The slit-knees fashion hit the ramp.
Troy Costa: Mark Robinson set the ramp ablaze in a formal ensemble. On one side where we had grey bow-tied official suits, we also had sequined disco jackets - even some wonderful flannel shirts accompanied by stylish tweed caps. Glasses were the style statement, as well as in-vogue carry bags as accessories. Old age charm with a dash of contemporary look was the watchword.
Candice Pinto: Bridal wear came back with a glittery vengeance, and the men could go dream about their brides with the multitude of options setting the ramp ablaze. For men, the variety was colourful and warm. It was the turn of the brides to moon over the sexy designs for the groom
Little Shilpa: This was the time for some futuristic imagination. The wacky headgears were weird, and questioned the relevance of .winter-autumn-designs in the out-of-this-world toppings on the models. The designs looked for the aliens.
Sanjay Hingu: Men turned attractive in slim-fitted jackets and trousers. Self designed velvet and woollen fabric made a big impression. Mostly black and greys. The trousers were trendily ankle-length. The arrow print on shirts and sweaters was a huge hit
Vikram Chatwal: Naomi Campbell was the biggest thing that happened today, and made Chatwal’s designer black sari a raging hit. She looked sensuous in the black net with broad golden borders setting her dusky complexion glow. The golden petticoat was a peek-a-boo glamorous hint that made up the undertones of that killer look. In another ensemble – pink embroidered kurti over black slacks - made the international model stand out among all the traditional wear with her raw appeal. Mai Mumbai - the show of solidarity partnered by Naomi Campbell`s `Fashion for Relief` and presented by Chatwal was a noble show with a cause. The showcase had Farhan Akhtar, Ujwala Raut, Feroz Gujral, Rahul Khanna, Arjun and Mehr Rampal, Madhu Sapre and a whole slew of big names walking the ramp.
