London, Dec 29: What may come as a rude shock to her fans, actress and teen sensation Emma Watson has said that she may not continue acting in future.
The 18-year-old actress has revealed her wish to lead a `normal` teenage life, a news daily reported.
Watson who immortalised the character of Hermione Granger in the big screen adaptations of JK Rowling`s fantasy novel `Harry Potter` said that she is `uncertain` that her future lies in acting.
The star has apparently become Hollywood`s highest paid actress under the age of 21, after amassing millions from the `Potter` series.
Watson said that she never went to drama school and still didn`t know if acting was `the right thing` for her.
"It`s weird because I`ve always felt uncertain that acting is what I wanted to do. I think that`s because I was nine years old when I was given the part without even going to acting school, " she said.
Watson who is set to start university in America in September also claimed that she is uncomfortable with her fortune.
The star, who still lives at home in Oxford with her mum Jacqueline and younger brother Alex, says she has `no use` for her millions. Watson claims that she wants a normal life preferring to spend the night at the cinema with friends.
"Why would someone my age need this much money? I don`t really have any use for it. I just want to be like my friends and they don`t have that kind of money. So if they are going to the cinema, I go to the cinema. I try to live a regular life," she concludes.
