Shahid-Vidya’s ‘Kismat Konnection’ leads them to the Oscar library

Mumbai, Jan 11: After the scripts of ‘Rock On’, ‘Sarkar Raj’ and ‘Heroes’ found their place in the Library of Motion Pictures of Arts and Sciences (better known as the Oscars library), Shahid-Vidya starrer ‘Kismat Konnection’ is the next to follow the league.The film did not do well in the Indian Box Office but was a hit abroad. Well, there’s no doubt that the Shahid-Vidya controversy was a bigger hit. However, the script did quite impress the Library authorities who have now expressed interest in acquiring a copy of the screenplay of ‘Kismat Konnection’ for the permanent core collection. The scripts in their collection are made accessible for research purposes only; students, filmmakers, writers and actors are among their regular patrons.
