New Delhi: Former Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Sunday said that the Bihar elections results show the BJP, despite having immense resources at its disposal, can be defeated.
Speaking to a news channel, Chidambaram said the Bihar verdict is a lesson for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, “there is still time for him to correct his course”, Chidambaram told CNN-IBN.
Separately, writing on Twitter Chidambaram said Bihar poll results matter most to one person - Narendra Modi.
“No PM before him has campaigned so extensively and aggressively,” he tweeted.
Mr Modi also presumably believes that it is his campaign that won the elections for the BJP in 2014 and subsequently in several states.
