New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday lauded BJP workers for party's membership drive that has crossed four crore mark.
Modi posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter: “Am extremely delighted to know that BJP membership drive has crossed 4 crore mark. I congratulate Karyakartas for their efforts.”

BJP president Amit Shah also said, "Our membership drive has crossed four crore (40 million) mark with the support of karyakartas and enthusiastic public", as per PTI.
BJP launched its membership drive on November 1 with PM Modi taking its first membership, followed by Shah. The drive has set an ambitious target of 10 crore members to help the party emerge as the largest in the world with the highest number of members.
The BJP chief has been touring various states to ensure the success of the membership drive that will continue till March 31.
