Bhubaneswar: The BSE Odisha Class 10th Results 2015 was declared on May 6 (Wednesday) by the Board of Secondary Education. 

The BSE Odisha Class 10th Result 2015 can be checked on the official websites of Odisha Board - bseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in. 

Students, who had appeared for the Board exam, can access any of the above-mentioned websites to check their result.

A total of 82.56 percent of students registered success in the annual HSC examinations in Odisha.

The result was announced by School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra in Cuttack today.

Out of a total of 5,49,374 students, who had appeared in the examinations, 4,51,959 have passed the examinations with an overall pass result of 82.56%. Of the pass students, 1,473 students have secured A1 grade by securing more than 90 percent of marks.

While 16,021 students have secured A2 grade (between 80 and 89% marks), 46,688 students have secured B1 grade (between 70 and 79% marks). A total of 43,194 candidates have secured B2 grade (between 60 and 69% marks) and 1,10,337 got C grade (between 50 and 59% marks) while 1,21,292 students got D grade (between 40 and 49% marks).

Similarly, 72,954 candidates got E grade (between 33 and 39% marks) and 39,473 students securing less than 33% marks have secured F grade.

"We are happy that the number of pass students has increased. The number of schools registering 100 percent success has increased while number of students booked for malpracice also declined," said School and Mass Education secretary Usha Padhee.

She said 25.98 percent of candidates have secured more than 60 percent of marks against the last year's performance of 20.97 percent.

“We have tried our best to come up with zero error results this year. In case any student feels there is error in his/her result, they can contact the two helpline numbers of the Board - 0671-2412059/2412060 or through the school helpline number 18003456722 between 10.30 am to 5 pm. We would immediately verify the answer sheets and do the needful,” said Dakshya Prasad Nanda, the president of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

A total of 5,78, 244 Regular and Ex-Regular (New) candidates in 2,799 centres, 9,620 Old Ex-Regular candidates in 84 nodal centres and 5,788 Madhyama (Sanskrit Toll) candidates in 50 centres had appeared in the examinations held between February 23 and March 9.

At least 1,956 Regular and Ex-Regular (New) candidates and 654 Old Ex-Regular and Madhyama candidates were booked for malpractice, board sources said. 

The website of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha states that it has been constituted under the Odisha Secondary Education Act, 1953. It regulates, controls and develops secondary education in the State of Odisha.

It started functioning in the year 1955 and is based in Cuttack.
