'ISI agent' Hurriyat is 'no party', says Bhim Singh

Bhim Singh, the chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party on Tuesday said the Hurriyat was not a party but an agent of Pakistan Intelligence Agency (ISI).

New Delhi: Bhim Singh, the chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party on Tuesday said the Hurriyat was not a party but an agent of Pakistan Intelligence Agency (ISI).

"Hurriyat is no party, it has no political existence. It has not a single elected representative in the democratically elected government of Jammu and Kashmir," Singh told ANI.

"Mirwaiz Farooq and ISI`s interpretation of Hurriyat as a primary party is totally rubbish. The Hurriyat is being used by the ISI as its agent," he added.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the chairman of moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference, had earlier said "Kashmir and Kashmiris is not a third party. Hurriyat is not a third front. We are primary party. And India and Pakistan are after us," said Mirwaiz.
