New Delhi: Islamabad appears to be miffed with India for not allowing a meeting between Hurriyat and Pakistan's National Security Advisor Sartaz Aziz.
Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a Pakistan High Commission official said that the invitation from them to Hurriyat is nothing but "chai pe charcha", making a sarcastic reference to Modi.
However, India appears resolute. “Agar mummy ne chai pe bulaya hai, to usmein Hurriyat ko jaane dena hai ya nahin, iska faisla sirf Bharat sarkaar karegi," is the sentiment in the PMO.
Recently, the Pak High Commission had invited the separatists for a Eid Milan. While Hurriyat chairman Geelani and JKLF supremo rejected the invite citing ignoring of Kashmir issue in the joint statement of PM Modi and Nawaz Sharief at Ufa Russia, Mirwaiz attended the event.
