PM Narendra Modi recites Nida Fazli's 'Safar mein dhoop to hogi' in Parliament - FULL TEXT here

New Delhi: Known for his excellent oratory skills, PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday in Rajya Sabha during discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address recited a poem written by Nida Fazli:-

Here is the FULL TEXT of the poem 'Safar mein dhoop to hogi' recited by the PM:-

"Safar mein dho to hogi jo chal sako to chalo,
Sabhi hain bheed mein.... tum bhi nikal sako to chalo,

Kisi ke vaasate raahein kahaan badalati hain, 
Tum apne aap ko khud hi badal sako to chalo,

Yahaan kisi ko koi raasta nahin deta, 
Mujhe giraake agar tum sambhal sako to chalo."

Renowned poet and lyricist Nida Fazli, who enthralled several generations with his soul-stirring compositions like 'Kabhie kisi ko mukamil jahan nahi milta' and 'Hosh waalon ko khabar kya', died in Mumbai on 8th Feb, due to heart failure. He was 78.
