New Delhi: Opening a new front against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Monday, alleged that the RSS and the BJP prevented him from entering a temple in Assam.
“I wanted to go to Barpeta Satra in Assam but RSS people stopped me from entering the temple. Who are they to stop me from entering the temple,” Rahul said. The Congress leader was in Barpeta to participate in a Padyatra.
“They put women in front of me so I couldn't enter temple, this is how the BJP operates,” he said, adding that the incident shows the mentality of Prime Minister Modi.
