New Delhi: Delhi's answer to London, the Delhi Eye, reopened on Thursday.

The giant wheel installed in Kalindi Kunj near Yamuna river resumed operations today.

The wheel is popularly known as the Delhi Eye and is part of an amusement park.

The wheel is some 45 metres high and provides a bird's eye view of the iconic Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple and Humayun’s Tomb.

Visitors can also see Connaught Place from the wheel cabin.

The wheel has been designed by a Dutch firm which is also the brain behind the London and Singapore giant wheels.
