Aden: Continuing the process of evacuation of Indians stuck in war-struck Yemen, INS Mumbai carrying the rescued nationals on Sunday reached Djibouti, Indian Ministry of External Affairs said.

The rescue operation by Indian defence continues under war-like condition in Yemen and so far 1800 Indians have been evacuated by air and by sea.

Meanwhile, the Indian Navy has completed the rigorous task of evacuation of Indian nationals from port city of Aden in Yemen, tweeted the Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj.

The conditions in the war-battered nation of Yemen are very tough for rescue as fighting between rival warring groups has escalated despite Saudi-led coalition air strikes on Houthi rebels.
