Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government has formulated a draft master plan for the development of Mansar
and Surinsar twin lakes along with other adjoining tourist
areas in the state.
Chief Town Planning Organisation in Jammu has prepared
the draft master plan of the twin lakes for the Surinsar
Mansar Development Authority, officials of Housing and Urban
Development Ministry said.
Through a notice, public and all other concerned
officials have been invited to render objections and
suggestions, they said.
Twin lake Mansar and Surinsar Tourist destinations in
Jammu and Samba districts are famous for wildlife sanctuary,
boating and water sports beside religious significance.
