Jammu: Representatives of Jammu and Kashmir government held a talk with agitating lawyers as their strike against transfer of land registration work from judiciary to revenue department entered 14th consecutive day here on Saturday.

J&K Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather held a meeting with lawyers led by Jammu Bar Association chief B S Salathia and assured them that their grievances would be addressed, officials said.

In the meeting it was decided that a committee comprising representatives from both the Bar Council and the government would be set up to continue dialogue on the issue, so that a mutually acceptable solution aimed at providing a better public delivery system is made available to the public.
