Rahul Gandhi to visit Jharkhand

New Delhi: Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will interact with Panchayat members and party leaders during a two day trip to Jharkhand Sep 25-26, party sources said on Saturday. Gandhi is expected to be briefed on the devolution of powers to the Panchayats. The panchayat polls were held in the state two years ago after a gap of over 30 years.

He will meet former and sitting legislators of the Congress besides MPs from Jharkhand in order to galvanise the party in the state. IANS
