Regular change of CM in Jharkhand unfortunate: Sudesh Mahto

Ajsu Party supremo Sudesh Mahto on Friday termed 'unfortunate' the constant change in names of chief ministers of Jharkhand in general knowledge books because of regular fall of governments in the last 14 years.

Ranchi: Ajsu Party supremo Sudesh Mahto on Friday termed 'unfortunate' the constant change in names of chief ministers of Jharkhand in general knowledge books because of regular fall of governments in the last 14 years.

"Students preparing GK for examinations find a change in the name of the chief minister by the time of the examination. This is unfortunate for Jharkhand," an Ajsu Party release quoted Mahto as saying at an election meeting.

"Give a majority government for five years so that GK remains the same (for five years) for the students," he said, referring to Jharkhand witnessing nine governments in 14 years.

Calling upon the people to strengthen the hands of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Jharkhand's development, Mahto sought votes for BJP/Ajsu Party alliance.

The Ajsu Party is contesting in eight seats in the election.
