Jodhpur: Self-styled godman Asaram Bapu never fails to surprise. Being a ‘godman’, he surprised with his alleged acts of crime.
Now, after claiming impotency, the 72-year-old has surprised doctors with his virility.
Asaram Bapu, who underwent a potency test in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of a minor at his Jodhpur ashram, has proved his ‘capability’ in front of doctors.
In fact, Asaram Bapu cleared the three-stage test in the first stage itself - physical stimulation.
While the results of the potency test do not augur well for the controversial godman, it is pertinent to know what exactly is a potency test?
As per doctors, the test involves various steps. The important one among them is to stimulate the private parts, first through manual movements and then by injecting drug stimulators if the manual method fails. Manual stimulation proved to be successful in Asaram`s case.
Apart from the physical check-up, the medical test includes relevant examinations by an urologist. These include a psychiatric evaluation.
Another step that helps determine the potency of a man involves checking the blood flow to penis and is called the Penile Color Doppler.
