BJP workers target of blast: Karnataka Minister

Bangalore/New Delhi: Karnataka Home Minister R Ashok on Wednesday claimed that the target of the motorcycle blast outside the BJP office in Bangalore this morning were party people. Speaking to reporters, Ashok said the BJP workers were the target of the attack. Earlier, BJP leader Balbir Punj had expressed hope that the blast was not an act of terror. Punj told reporters, "One only hopes that it an accident. One prays that it is not an act by terrorists or a political activist." Punj said full details of the incident have not yet come.
