Congress sets up 2014 poll panel

New Delhi: Minister of State of Environment and Forests Jairam Ramesh will be the convenor of a small group which will coordinate activities of the Congress party for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, a statement said on Saturday. According to the statement, Congress president Sonia Gandhi approved the setting up of the group which will serve as the secretariat for the party`s election coordination committee, headed by vice president Rahul Gandhi.
