  • Nitin Gadkari has been given additional charge of Gopinath Munde's ministries - Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water & Sanitation, as per ANI.

  • Pankaja Munde, the daughter of late Gopinath Munde, has denied that her father's supporters resorted to vandalism post his funeral Wednesday afternoon. Pankaja said the men who indulged in violence were not her father's supporters and asked Home Minister Rajnath Singh to probe the incident.

    Senior leaders like Vinod Tawde, Kirit Somaiya, Ramdas Athawale, Raj Purohit, Munde's daughter Pankaja Munde-Palve and others accompanied the body.

    Ironically, it was the same building where Munde's brother-in-law and former BJP strongman Pramod Mahajan was gunned down by his brother Pravin eight years ago.
