Navy rescues 11 stranded fishermen off AP coast

Eleven fishermen, stranded off the Andhra Pradesh coast in rough seas, were on Thursday rescued by the Indian Navy.

Chennai: Eleven fishermen, stranded off the Andhra Pradesh coast in rough seas, were on Thursday rescued by the Indian Navy.
The fishermen were rescued after Navy ships found them stranded off the coast off Narsapur in Andhra Pradesh, a Navy release said.
Naval divers in Chetak helicopters rescued the fishermen this morning after district officials requested the Navy to undertake the operation, it said.
