Niraj Bajaj, Dilip Dandekar elected to IMC Managing Committee

Mumbai, Mar 10: Niral Bajaj, Managing Director of Mukand Ltd, and Dilip Dandekar of Camlin Ltd are among the 12 persons elected, without contest, to Managing Committee of Indian Merchants' Chamber for 2003-04.
"Twenty-three valid nominations were received for 12 seats. Subsequently, 11 candidates withdrew their candidature," an IMC release said here today, quoting IMC Secretary General P N Mogre.
Hence, there would be "no election" to the Managing Committee, which was scheduled on March 12, the release said.
Other new members of the managing panel are Pradeep B Chinai, Shriram Chokhani, Bakul Jain, S K Jalan, Arvind Jolly, Nitin R Joshi, Ashok Kadakia, Pradeep R Mafatlal, Dinesh Parekh and Nayan Patel, it said.
