New Delhi: President Pratibha Patil on Saturday greeted the nation on the occasion of New Year. She expressed the hope that 2012 would bring happiness to the nation.
"On the joyous occasion of the New Year, I extend my greetings and best wishes to all my fellow citizens for a happy and prosperous New Year," said an official communique from the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
In her message, Patil said: "Let us resolve to work with all dedication and a sense of pride in whatever activities we undertake."
