Sydney: Former Australian Test pace bowler Brett Lee has reportedly set himself the goal of hitting the 150km/h mark in the domestic Big Bash League.
The former Test speedster has recently started his training in the lead-up to the Sydney Sixers` opening match against cross-town rivals Sydney Thunder at the SCG next month.
According to an Australian Newspaper, Lee said that if he is still bowling around 150km, then he would continue to play, adding that if he does it this year, then it would be 20 years of bowling at that speed.
The bowler further added that it is just a case of building the bowling now for him as he is physically in a very good shape.
Lee is aiming to reach the 140km/h mark early in the tournament before hitting top speed with more conditioning, according to the report.
