The priest of the shrine found pages of the book torn during evening prayers yesterday and subsequently intimated police about the incident. A case against unidentified persons has been registered and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to nab the culprits, police said. In a separate incident, a clash took place at Badhni Kalan village of the district after a speech by a religious preacher, police said, adding that a compromise was reached following police intervention.
