Chandigarh: Two students were run over by a train in the Barnala district, police said here on Friday.
The deceased identified as Gagandeep (20) and Iqbal Singh (19) were walking on track with their ears glued to their mobile phones` headphones, police said, adding that their bodies have been sent to post mortem.
The passenger train was enroute from Bathinda to Ambala.
The duo were studying at a local SD college.
