Jaipur: A young couple, who had gone missing
from their house, were on Friday found dead in a pond in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district, police said.
The bodies of Amika and Akash, both 21 years old, were sighted floating in the pond in Pilani town by locals who informed the police.
"Primary investigation reveals that they were in a relationship and had left their house on Wednesday after their families objected to their affair," SHO, Pilani police station, Omprakash said.
The bodies have been shifted to a hospital for postmortem, he said, adding that a probe into the matter is on.
