Kannauj: Seven persons including three children were killed and five others injured in separate incidents of house collapse due to rains in Kannauj and Azamgarh districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Five persons were today killed and as many injured in Subhash Nagar locality in Tiwra area of Kannauj when a house collapsed.
The victims were identified Naeem (40), Sabina (30), Sayan (11), Naushia (12), Fayaiz (8). The injured have been rushed to the hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable.
In Azamgarh, Jai Rajbhar (40) and his wife Parmi Devi (38) were killed in house collapse due to heavy rains in Tadi village in Jahanganj area last evening.
Their bodies were taken out from the debris with the help of villagers and sent for post-mortem.
