PoK PM`s no-confidence motion fails in legislative Assembly

The no-confidence motion moved against Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed was taken back on Friday as none of the 30 MLSs present in the Legislative Assembly has voted in its favour.

Islamabad: The no-confidence motion moved against Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed was taken back on Friday as none of the 30 MLSs present in the Legislative Assembly has voted in its favour.
According to the Dawn News, the move comes after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif asked Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s ( PML-N) members to stay impartial on the issue. Earlier, two ruling Peoples Party ( PPP) members, Abdul Majid Khan and Muhammad Hussain Sargala, had submitted the resolution in the Legislative Assembly on July 22 in an attempt to bring an in-house change. They had claimed in the charge-sheet that Majid had failed to deliver good governance, implement merit and root out corruption in government departments, the report added. Meanwhile, assembly secretariat had received an application from the two MLAs for withdrawal of the no-confidence resolution. ANI
