Noida: Around a dozen Dalits were injured
in a clash with Gujjars at village Ramgarh in Dadri area
on Wednesday.
Police quoted eyewitnesses as saying that they saw the
clash between Dalits and Gujjars at around 2.30pm and Dalits
were allegedly being beaten up.
Around seven injured were still in a hospital with
fractured bones.
Police said the clash was the fall-out of an old enmity
between the two groups.
Additional police personnel were deployed at the village
to prevent fresh outbreak of clash.
An FIR was lodged at Dadri police station late evening
in connection with the incident.
