Meerut: Husband killed and buried by wife

Meerut: A woman allegedly killed her husband
in connivance with her father and other relatives and later
buried his body inside the tent they were living at Mohkampur
area here, police said today.

Kavita killed her husband last night with the help of her
father, uncle and brother as he was opposed to her illicit
relationship with a youth, they said.

She later buried the body inside the tent she was living
with her husband and son along the Delhi road. She then
uprooted the tent and ran away with her belongings, they said.

On a tip-off, police arrested Kavita and two others and
exhumed the decomposed body bearing head injury and
strangulation marks.
