Bahraich: Two poachers were arrested for
allegedly killing a spotted deer in a jungle adjacent to Nepal
in the Katarniyaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, a senior Forest
Department official said here today.
Shiv Prasad and Tilakram were arrested yesterday for
killing spotted deer, they said.
Divisional Forest Officer R K Singh said that the three
Nepalese accomplices of the accused poachers managed to
escape.
Singh further said that bodies of animals killed, a gun
and trap were recovered from their possession.
